Da New Bloodz after a miscommunication led to Da Curse breaking up Da Gifts pinfall attempt on Sam Bass with a moonsault then Ryan Nuzzi hit a firemans carry into a facebuster on Da Gift for the pinfall to retain the titles. After the match, Da Curse left the ring without checking on his brother. FUSION WRESTLING ALPHA TITLE MATCH The Walking Death Sabbath d. Brandon Day with a Powerbomb into an exposed turnbuckle, an over the shoulder backbreaker followed by a lariat and finally a second powerbomb for the pin. After the match, Sabbath attacked the fallen Day and put him the camel clutch assisted by his Mace. When the hold was finally released, Day had to be stretchered to the locker. Fusion Wrestling hopes to update his condition later this week. Number One Jefferson Early d. The War Horse Larry Horsley in match where Jefferson Earlys manager Neil Sharkey was handcuffed to Da Gift. This match went back and forth until both men exchanged a series of German Suplexes, the last of which ended with Jefferson Early crashing into referee Erik Bugg. Horsley appeared to have the match won, but there was no referee to count the fall. Da Gift attempted to go revive the referee, but Neil Sharkey laid down and grabbed the ringpost to keep Da Gift from reaching him. Horsley then attempted to revive the official, but could not. When he turned back to his opponent, Early hit The War Horse with a low blow followed by The Straight Shot Superkick. Seeing the referee was still down Early went under the ring to retrieve a chair. Da Gift struggled to get into the ring to prevent what he was going to happen, but Neil Sharkey was still on the ground clutching the ringpost. Early attempted to crown Horsley with the chair, but Horsley managed to double leg Number One and apply The Sharpshooter. Early was tapping to the hold, but there was no referee to call for the bell. Da Gift tried to loosen Sharkeys grip on the post so he could reach the referee, but he could not. Finally Da Curse ran out from the back. His brother, Da Gift, cheered him on as he appeared to go revive official Erik Bugg, but instead of assisting the fallen ref, Da Curse slid into the ring. He pulled a chain from his pocket and stared down his stunned and confused brother before blasting The War Horse, the man who trained him to be a professional wrestler in the back of the head with his chain wrapped fist. The fans of Fusion Wrestling couldnt believe what they were seeing. Da Curse pulled Early on top of Horsley then slid out of the ring and slapped referee Erik Bugg in the face until he groggily awoke. Bugg slowly crawled over and counted the fall and awarded the victory to Number One Jefferson Early. After the match, Da Gift confronted his brother on the rampway, but Neil Sharkey grabbed Da Gift from behind. His arms pinned to his sides Da Gift could not protect himself as his brother slammed him across the head with a steel chair. Da Gift crumpled at his brothers feet. Early, Curse and Sharkey stood over their fallen opponents before raising their hands in a token of an unearned and shocking victory. Diamond Victor Griff & The Pain Train Preston Quinn d. The Experience Damien Wayne & Big Time Mike Booth The match started fast and furious as all four men in the contest truly can not stand one another. At one point after clearing the ring, Quinn and Griff squared off and nearly came to blows before returning their attention to The Old School Empire. At first both Quinn and Griff were reluctant to tag their partner, but slowly their teamwork improved. The match went back and forth and eventually, The OSE was able to isolate Griff in their corner. They were able to work him over for several minutes and nearly had the contest won. Griff was able to gain a momentary advantage on Wayne and start to crawl towards his corner. Wayne made the tag to Mike Booth, Booth sprinted into the ring and hit Griff from behind driving him out of the ring, but on the way out The Pain Train managed to make the tag. Quinn came in a like a house of fire, bouncing both of his opponents around the ring. He set up to deliver his devastating Derailer Lariat to Damien Wayne, but when he hit the ropes, he crashed into Diamond Victor Griff who was just pulling himself up on the apron. Griff flew off and crashed into the railing and was down for several minutes. In the ring, The OSE hit a mafia kick and an elbow drop off the top rope that appeared as though it would end the match, but somehow Preston Quinn was able to survive. Wayne and Booth battered Quinn for the next several minutes as Griff recovered on the outside. When he finally regained his feet, Griff didnt return to his teams corner, instead he slammed his hands on the apron in frustration and started walking to the locker room area. Wayne and Booth taunted Griff as he started to walk away before turning their attention back to Quinn. Quinn was able to clothesline both of his opponents, but when he crawled to his corner, Griff wasnt there. The OSE took over again and continued their attack on Quinn. Just when it seemed all was lost for The Pain Train he was able to hit a desperation spear on both Booth & Wayne. Again he began his crawl to the corner this time, Griff ran from the stage to his corner and tagged into the match to the delight of the Fusion Wrestling fans. Quinn & Griff took over on The OSE knocking them from pillar to post. Quinn & Wayne tumbled to the outside as Booth and Griff continued the match in the ring. Wayne managed to shove Quinn into the post as Griff hooked Booth for the Diamondback Death Drop. Wayne struck Griff from behind and set him up for a piledriver, but before he could deliver the devastating move, Preston Quinn saved his partner with a massive Derailer Clothesline to Wayne. Wayne and Quinn were knocked out of the ring with the blow. As Griff pulled himself to his feet, he was struck with a huge Lariat from Mike Booth. Booth covered, but somehow Griff was able to kickout. Booth readied for another Lariat, but this time Griff countered and hit Booth with The Diamondback Death Drop and locked on the Diamondback Deathlock. Booth struggled to escape, but was forced to tap out, giving the victory to Preston Quinn. After the victory Quinn & Griff briefly celebrated before getting in each others face. Both men made it clear that their partnership ended here and on January 10th at Battle For The Belt they would both put it all on the line. Griff then extended his hand to Quinn. Quinn accepted and both men raised the others hand in victory. Griff then left the ring. On his way up the aisle, he intercepted ring announcer Johnathan Sharpe who was bringing the Heavyweight Title to the ring. Griff grabbed the belt and stared at what he hoped would soon be his, this distracted Quinn long enough for The OSE to take advantage. They jumped Quinn from behind and started putting the boots to him. The fans implored Griff to save The Pain Train but instead he just waved them off and headed to the locker room. In the ring, The OSE laughed knowing they had Quinn to themselves. Damien Wayne held Preston Quinn as Mike Booth set up to deliver a finishing Lariat to the Fusion Wrestling Heavyweight Champion, but Quinn was able to duck out of the way at the last second and Booth struck Wayne. Wayne rolled out of the ring and Booth turned around to be met with a big Spinebuster from the Pain Train. Preston Quinn was left standing tall after a long hard fought match, but knowing he would be facing an enormous challenge on January 10th in his home town of Gloucester, VA at the Gloucester Moose Lodge at BATTLE FOR THE BELT!
