Fuzzy Pawz Rescue Sweet Sheba needs a little love people! How about sharing her all over Facebook to help us find her a home by this weekend! FOSTER LOCATION: Gooding, ID Sheba is a beautiful, golden blond retriever mix, medium size dog, approx. 2-1/2-3 years old, 24 inches tall and currently 62 lbs. When Sheba came to Fuzzy Pawz she was terribly thin and ill and was missing all the skin of the pads of her feet. Since then she has made a full recovery and has gained 11 lbs. since coming into foster care. She is very playful and loving and would probably do well with an active family with older kids that can give her the exercise she needs. She is totally house trained and has been left home alone for hours without incident. She will sleep in a crate, but prefers to be with you and sleep in her bed in your room. She apparently had no obedience training when she came into foster, but learns quickly. With the help of her foster mom Sheba now sits, comes with a whistle or command, retrieves a ball and is good on a leash. She loves her toys, but tends to be a little rough on the stuffed ones. She does get excited when “company” visits and needs a little work on not jumping on people. She loves riding in the car. She has a beautiful, soft coat and loves to be brushed. She gets along well with the dogs in her foster home and is good with the cat, except when he ran the first day and she chased him. A firm “no” and she has been okay since then. Sheba is an athletic girl and will need a 6’ fenced yard (no chain link please). She would LOVE to have an active family who will hike, bike, run, walk with her. She’d love to be your constant companion. She has been vaccinated, spayed and microchipped.
