G-Dragon Returns To South Korea To Start Work On Upcoming Big Bang Album On Wednesday, the record label for K-pop superstar act Big Bang issued a press release stating that according to a music insider, G-Dragon has returned to South Korea to begin work for the groups next album. The Big Bang frontman will reportedly spend the spring composing what is being billed as the bands first full-length album in two years. G-Dragon began working on the songs for a new album a few days ago officially, said the anonymous insider. Since he announced the release of a new album in this summer at the concert, people will be able to listen to Big Bangs new songs by this summer. The concert the press release referenced was back in January, when Big Bang performed to a crowd of 36,000 in Seoul. At the show, G-Dragon boldly told fans they could expect the next Big Bang album, then unwritten. The only way to give back to your love is to release an album, G-Dragon said. It will be this summer. We have released only a few regular albums under the name of Big Bang, so it is time to release one more, isnt it? Later that day, at a press conference held in a restaurant in Seoul, Yang Hyun Suk, co-founder and CEO of the groups record label, YG Entertainment, confirmed that G-Dragon would spend the spring working on the new Big Bang album. We have no schedule for G-Dragon from this March on, Yang said, according to a press release from the label on Tuesday. We will make him concentrate only on the songs for Big Bangs new album. He writes good songs so fast, so I think there will be no problem with Big Bangs comeback in this summer. A comeback that the K-pop record mogul said he believes will be in July or August. G-Dragon tried to convey to the crowd in Seoul what the process of composing the groups next album means to him and his four bandmates. Summer is not that far off, he said. We will do our best making this new album and while standing on the stage as solo artists, too.
