G.K. Chesterton uses metaphor to indirectly compare opening ones - TopicsExpress

G.K. Chesterton uses metaphor to indirectly compare opening ones mind (thinking) and presumably the mind of others to eating. One accepts what is true, meaningful, relevant, sensible or if scientific, empirical. In the same manner what one eats should be food that his body needs in relation to his bodily requirements which are determined by such factors as age, body measurements, state of health, activities, among others. Usually a man stops eating when he is satisfied. Man continues to study, research, investigate, discern until he finds truth and meaning. - with Erlinda Nora Rafanan and Marisa Lanuza.
