G13 Gallery is delighted to announce their candidates, Najib Ahmad Bamadhaj and Hisyamuddin Abdullah, to initiate the second episode of G13 Residency@Bali. The residency is a by appointment residency program, an initiative of G13’s support towards the grooming of emerging artists by pushing boundaries and encouraging development. Its main goal is to encourage cross-cultural dialogue and social integration to be experimented and adopted in the artists’ creative process. Any documentation and artwork produced from the residency will be the subject for an exhibition in Jan 2014. The two artists depart on 20 August – 11 September. They will be taken on tours, studio visits, participating in life drawing sessions and given an opportunity to experiment collaborative artistic explorations in the Balinese community and culture.
