GAIA Staffer Laurie Hunter is currently visiting Malawi projects. Here is a short video of GAIA Caregivers welcoming the visitors at Magombo Village, which has been supported by Trinity Church in Menlo Park. From Laurie: The Caregivers and GAIA coordinators composed 4 songs for us, in a “call and response” fashion, while one woman beat the drum. We were all asked to join in the 4 dances which had slightly different steps but were mostly simple so we could just sway to the music or we could be more energetic. Song 1: Welcome GAIA Visitors Song 2: We now get tested for HIV, it’s okay to say you are HIV positive Song 3: GAIA caregivers will keep being volunteers, after GAIA has left Song 4: GAIA is the only NGO who has come to our village Guardian spoke: thank you for helping us, now help others
