GAME VS MIAMI INFERNO CANCELLEDFury to Host Tarpons in 2014 Championship GameCorpus Christi, TX – The Corpus Christi Fury have announced that this Saturday’s home game versus the Miami Inferno has been cancelled. All tickets for the game can be exchanged for tickets to the 2014 UIFL Championship Game which will be held on Saturday August 2nd versus the Florida Tarpons. Kickoff will be at 7:05pm Tickets for the championship game will be on sale beginning Tuesday July 15th. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Miami Inferno were unable to have enough players on their roster to compete this weekend and all remaining games versus the Inferno will be deemed as a forfeit for the opposing team. The 2014 UIFL Championship Game will be a rematch of last season’s game held in Florida and the Fury will be looking to avenge that loss. Season Ticket Holders and sponsors will be contacted by team personnel to exchange their tickets. The Fury is also offering a 2 for 1 deal for the game in which you will receive a free ticket for every game day ticket purchased.
