A story in inquirer.net quoted Dinky as describing as HYPOCRITICAL critics who have been hitting the luxury resort trip the DSWD gave to 490 street dwellers during the entire visit of Pope Francis. So that PNoy’s fanatics won’t say that I’m unfair or biased, I will cite Dinky’s explanation and my take. Dinky was quoted in the inquirer.net story as saying: “Where would we bring them? Don’t they deserve to be there? According to her, it was hard to believe that this day and age, using the toilet, sleeping in a bed, and taking a bath, among others, were being reintroduced to a family.” BAKIT HINDI SA MAS MURANG hotel, motel o iba pang kahalintulad na lugar dinala ang mga street dwellers? Maliban na lamang sa mas mamahaling materyales at mga ginamit sa paggawa ang mga nasa luxury resort, MAYROON DING BANYO AT KAMA ang mga di sikat na hotel at motel na PUWEDE NILANG LIGUAN AT TULUGAN. Saan man daanin, KAYABANGAN ang pagdadala sa mga pamilyang lansangan sa MAMAHALING LUGAR AGAD para lamang muling turuang maligo at matulog sa kama., at sumailalim sa kung anumang training kuno. Dinky said the DSWD spent P4.3 million for the street dwellers and staff members during the six-day “training,” or P1,193.50 per person a day with three meals, two snacks a day, the amenities, and clean accommodations. I don’t have exact, current rates but I will still dare say with CERTAINTY that had that group been brought to 2-star or 3-star hotels or motels in Metro Manila, that {4.3 million would have been A L;OT MORE LESSER. A popular motel in Makati, take note Makati, with a lot of branches which I called before I wrote this piece informed me that their HIGHEST rate for a room was only P2,000 plus, as against the P4,000 per room per day which the DSWD paid for in the luxury resort. Kayo na ang magsabi, mga kababayan: GAANO KARAMING PAGKAIN at iba pang mga pangangailangan ang nabili pa sana para sa mga mahihirap KUNG NAGMENOS sana ang DSWD? Dinky said the Pope loved the children, embracing and recognizing them. But according to media reports, NO ONE among those brought to the luxury resort was allowed to leave until Pope Francis flew back to Rome. Therefore, whoever the children Dinky was referring to were DIFFERENT from the ones rounded up by her people. I will not say that she’s STUPID to point out as proof kids who are not part of the controversy. But she is a MANIPULATOR, desperately trying to CONFUSE the public mind with a DIRTY TRICK that won’t fool even an ILLITERATE. Dinky said there are 11,000 families of street dwellers all over Metro Manila so how can she and the government hide them from the Pope? Ang mga DINALA LAMANG SA RESORT ANG PINAGUUSAPAN, Mrs. Soliman, HINDI ANG LAHAT ng taong lansangan sa buong Metro Manila. ILANG ARAW na iyang MALIWANAG pa sa sikat ng araw sa media. WALA RING NAGSASABI HANGGANG NGAYON na lahat ng pamilyang lansangan ang itinago mo noon mula sa Santo Papa. Kaya HUWAG MONG LITUHIN ANG TAUMBAYAN at ibahin ang usapan, HINDI KASING-TANGA ng akala mo ang Sambayanan. At lalong WALA KANG SAPAT NA KREDIBILIDAD para kahit salita mo pa lamang ay maniniwala na ang taumbayan. Dinky said local government units (LGU) where huge crowds gathered to see the Pope had asked the DSWD to temporarily take street dwellers away. Really? Identify these LGUs, please, and kindly name the officials who made the request. And don’t forget to present PHYSICAL PROOF of the request. If you can’t present any detail, Mrs. Soliman, you had better have a good explanation on why you should still not be called a STINKING LIAR AND SQUANDERER (TAGA-LUSTAY) of the people’s money. 30
