GAOs had an outlier (a person or thing differing from all other members of a particular group or set). Thurlow. Greyhounds arrive and leave on average about 4 weeks after arriving, although some are a week or two before that mark, some a few weeks after that, while they are vetted and during the search for the right family. Thurlow waited well beyond that average - he arrived April 12th! As a smaller black male, and not as flashy as some of the other hounds, he waited through Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, his BIRTHDAY and Labor Day. And even though he blossomed into a handsome boy while at GAO, some were worried he would not have a home before Thanksgiving!!! But now, he is an outlier no longer! His family finally found him! Suzanne and Robert have adopted Thurlow! This patient and lucky boy will join greyhounds Nelli and Jaxx as a treasured member of their family! (As you can see from the pic, he has made himself right at home, taking a nap in his own private pool.) Congrats to all!!!
