GARNER, Floyd W. Age 71 of LaFollette, Tennessee, formerly of Fairfield, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at his home. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on January 21, 1943 the son of Floyd Sr. and Helen (Croucher) Garner. On February 15, 1985 in Hamilton he married Pearl Seals. Floyd retired in 2003 from General Electric, Evendale after 38 years employment. Floyd was a member of IAM, and The Oldies But Goodies Car Club. He enjoyed fun times at Sugar Hollow Marina on Norris Lake. He is survived by his beloved wife of 29 years, Pearl Garner; sister, Kathy Francis Durkin, his daughters, Bridgette (Danny) Dye, Ginger (Doug) Lehman, and Jeanette (Jeff) Gabrelcik; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a devoted niece, Cindy Douglas. He was preceded in death by his parents, nephew, Jason Pittman and a step-son, Jeffery Scott Seals. Visitation will be held at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, 240 Ross Ave., Hamilton, on Monday, Dec. 1st from 12 noon to time of funeral service at 1:00 PM with Pastor Jacob Flannery officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to U T Hospice, 2121 Medical Center Way, Suite 110, Knoxville, TN 37920 or Professional Case Management, 800 Oak Ridge Turnpike #100, Oak Ridge, TN 37830 . Floyds wife extends a heartfelt thank you to the doctors, nurses, and staffs of U T Hospice and Professional Case Management for their devotion and dedication to Floyds care. Condolences may be left for the family at Webb-Noonan.
