GATHERING OF THE CLANS from the SSF Reviewing the charts for this forthcoming weekend weve decided as an SSF committee to postpone the Gathering of the Clans 2014 to the provisional back up dates of the 18-19th October. Its been a tight call and early indications suggest there may be a small wave form into Sunday but its deemed at this stage insufficient to run a national event. This year has the right mix to make it one of the best and weve got some pretty good sponsorship from Granite Reef and Hyperflex Wetsuits......we just need the surf! Moving into October opens the event to a wider swell window and will also provide the opportunity to give the Scotland team a send off as they prepare to represent Scotland at the ISA 50th Anniversary World Games in Peru the following week.
