GEJ or GMB? The dilemma likely to confront the Nigerian voters is the choice they must make between the Known and the Unknown. The Inperfect and the Uncertain. What is and what may befall us. Though he scored many (for instance, his stance on gay-marraige, Nigerias membership in UN Security Council, Football & Athletics Cup championships, Africas No.1 Economy by GDP, war against Ebola, YOUWIN, mono-rail, Agriculture -rice, cassava etc, Automobile, Electricity deregulation &many new power stations, Air-port remodelling, Bank of Industry, and so on). How about security? To what extent is he winning? No one can say for certain that a second coming would be supperb. But, no one can declare with any certainty that Buhari & his APC would not be a disaster waiting to happen – especially with the cobbled assemblage of politicians behind him. Would Nigerians be better off continuing with Jonathan or risk had-I-known? Security! What if we see another wave of militancy from the South-South in the event that Jonathan’s Ijaw brothers believe that their man had been hounded out of office? Do we even trust that Buhari’s APC halt can the slide into anarchy resulting from the activities of Boko Haram? Especially considering they innitially started it or supported it. One way or the other. These are issues. Only judicious use of the ballot papers can decide.
