GENDER EQUALITY!, GENDER MAINSTREAMING!! Ladies do talk about gender equality at all times. Gender equality in politics, gender equality in family affairs, gender equality in academics, gender equality in all societal affairs, gender equality in other things............ But, what happens to gender equality in relationships? There is an avalanche of ripe and ready well-to-do ladies who are yet to find husbands. Some of our guys are not helping matter at all, some are far beyond 40, yet they are still single. They want to garner all the wealth in the whole world, after which they approach ladies in their early 20s for marriage, leaving their age mates to tarry. As a patriotic citizen, I advocate gender mainstreaming in relationships. Ladies, approach single guys you like and propose marriage to them. Dont keep waiting for them to take the lead, while they act as if you ladies were not existing. Take the bull by the horns. And if any of the guys turns your request down, sue him and seek redress from the court of law. It is high time we changed our societal norms and traditions!
