GENE UPDATE He is doing amazingly well, much better than anyone honestly expected. He loves his soup (96% canned chicken with water). He is still pretty anti social but he is learning. Gene shows signs of malnutrition and living in a cage on wire. His legs are deformed but we are hoping we can correct some of that with good nutrition. He was a breeder dog, that is it, nothing more. He was never a pet, never loved, never petted. We are working with him on trust. He loves the other dogs. We will get there.
