GENERAL AGOYI AND BBC General Martins Agoyi in a BBC interview in the morning o f today, warned that it would be a mistake of great proposion for anyone to believe that the ongoing military action against the boko haram insurgency is capable of bringing the ongoing security challedges to an end. The General added that the problem had to do with the failed Nigeria system expressed by failed political process, failed economic and social systems; and failed leadership. He concluded that the panacea was a concerted effort by all Nigerians towards working together to build a stable, peaceful and united prosperous nation. I agree with the General. Just imagine how innocent citizens are being killed today. Just look at what the political leaders and representnatives are doing with power and peoples common wealth. Look at what somebody like Al Mustapha who just returned from the valley of shadow of death occasioned by the nemesis of his own past doing to himself while innocent people are killed daily in his home state Yobe. Frustratsingly, just look at how Nigerians are being misled to hate themselves along religious and ethnic lines by their leaders. But with all these going on, where are our leaders or is it a case of a nation without leaders and if that is the case, who then salvage the situation? Who will save Nigeria and Nigerians?
