GENERAL HUMAN RIGHTS General human rights in the Quran Right to life The Koran defends the sanctity and absolute value of human life. In the Quran sets that put the life of every individual is essentially similar to that of an entire community and therefore with extreme care should be treated. Also killing children is condemned strongly. Say: Come, I will recite what your Lord has forbidden; namely that you associate anything with Him, and that ye do not treat your parents and that you kill your children out of poverty. - We are the ones who care for you and for them - and that ye lewd things whether openly or secretly commit and that you killed a soul wrongly which Allah has made sacred. This is what He has commanded you, that ye may understand . 6: 151 Account: We ordained for the Children of Israel that if any one slew a person, unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land, as if he had slain all mankind, and whoso gives life as if he had saved the life of all mankind and certainly Our messengers came to them with clear signs, yet -. were then -velen them on earth about offenders. 5: 32 And kill not your children for fear of poverty. We shall provide sustenance for them as well as for you. Verily the killing of them is a great sin. 17:31 Right to respect The Quran considers all men worthy of respect because they have the ability to think, to the knowledge of good and bad, to doing good and avoiding evil. Because of the promise inherent in the human condition, namely the possibility to be Gods vicar on earth, the humanity of all people must be respected and regarded as an end in itself. And indeed We have honored the children of Adam and carried them on land and sea, and their provision of good things and preferred them above many of those whom We have created because they alone of all creation have chosen the management of accepting free will. 17:70 Verily, We offered the heavens, the earth and the mountains, and their (slightly) to trust, but she refused to wear and being afraid thereof: but man undertook it. Indeed, it is very unjust (against themselves), ignorant. 33:72. People can exercise freedom of will because they have rational power, which distinguishes them from all other creatures. 2:30. And when your Lord said to the angels said, I want to place a viceroy on earth, she said, Wilt Thou place therein one who will make mischief therein and shed blood, while we, we hymn the praise you deserve and your holiness prices, he replied, I know what ye know not. 31. And He taught Adam all the names. Then He (the objects of these) names for the angels and said, Tell me the names of these if ye are truthful. 32. They said: Glory to Thee we have no knowledge except what You have taught us; surely Thou art the Knower, the Wise.. 33. He said: O Adam! Tell them the names of these things, and when he gave names, He said: Said I not tell you that I know the secrets of the heavens and the earth, and I know what you reveal and what ye conceal? 34. And when We said to the angels: Bow down to Adam and they all prostrated except Iblis. He refused and was haughty. He belonged to the unbelievers. Although people to The lowest of the low can degenerate, the Koran states that it in the best shape are made: 95: 4. Surely We have created man in the best shape, 5. Then do We expire him to the lowest, 6. Except those who believe and do good works; theirs is a reward unfailing. Right to justice The Quran lays great emphasis on the right to seek justice and the duty to do justice. O ye who believe! Be upright for Allah, bearing witness with justice. And let not the hatred of a people can not urge to act unjustly. Be just: that is nearer to piety: and fear Allah, for Allah is on informed of what ye do. 5: 8 Justice brings a balance in the form of a scale which is equally balanced. What is justice other than avoiding excesses must be neither too much nor too little? Hence the use of the scales as the emblem of the law, Abu al-Asad Kalaam. So that no one tries too much or too little to do, the Koran prescribes that no human being the burden of another can carry or can reach without seeking to achieve. That no bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another, And that man can have nothing but what he strives for 53:. 38, 39 Right to freedom The Koran is committed to freeing people from every form of enslavement (slavery). With recognition of the human tendency to dictatorship and despotism, the Quran clearly and emphatically in Sura 3:79: Its becoming a man, to whom the book and gives him the power and the prophethood, then he should say to people: Be ye my servants besides Allah ; but (rather): Be ye worshipers of the Lord, as ye have taught the Book and examines itself. The institution of human slavery is obviously very important in the context of human freedom. Slavery was widespread in Arabia at the time of the advent of Islam and formed the basis of the Arab economy. Not only was the Koran in a just and humane treatment of slaves, but also constantly insisted on the freeing of slaves. Because in Sura 47: 4 capture that prisoner of war should be released either by an act of grace or against ransom, Quran slavery abolished virtually off as -men the main source of slaves and women were prisoner of war. When ye meet the Unbelievers (in fight), then take their necks until, when ye have routed them, then tie it. And when the war has stopped, then let them free as a favor or for ransom. So be it ... ... 47: 4. A book that no king or prophet entitles absolute obedience of another human enforce slavery is impossible in any sense whatsoever approve. The main guarantee of personal freedom of a Muslim is in the Quranic injunction that no one but God can limit human freedom. Although the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was the recipient of divine revelation, he had the obligation to consult the Muslims in public places. The proclamation in 2: 256 There is no compulsion in religion. Guarantees freedom of religion and the exercise of faith. This means that should have according to the teachings of Islam, non-Muslims living in Islamic areas undisturbed freedom and without fear to follow their own faith traditions. The right to freedom also includes the right to freely speak the truth. The Quranic term for truth is Hakk, which is also one of Gods most important features. Stand for the truth is a right and a responsibility which a Muslim should not abandon, even in situations of great difficulty or danger. O ye who believe! Be upholders of justice, bearing witness for Allah, even against yourselves or your parents and relatives. Whether rich or poor, Allah is better than both. Follow not the lusts, lest ye be unjust . And if you distort the truth or you turn away, Allah is aware of what you do. 4: 135. While the Quran commands believers to testify the truth, the society is also dedicated to those who do not act according harm. Hadith: Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him, narrated: The Prophet, Allahs blessings and peace be upon him, Shall I inform you of what the greatest sins? We said: O Messenger of Allah, yes. He said: Many Gods Service and disobedience to parents. He was stretched out, sat down and said, and certainly telling a falsehood, untruth in testimony and kept repeating that until we hoped that he would stop [Final report narrated by Bukhari and Muslim]. Right to acquire knowledge The Quran puts the greatest emphasis on the importance of knowledge acquisition. That knowledge from the very beginning part of the core of the Islamic world imagination is demonstrated by the following verse, which Muslims believe that it was the first revelation received by the Prophet Muhammad: Proclaim the Name of your Lord, the Creator. Created man from a clot. Proclaim! And thy Lord is Most Bountiful Die (humans) taught by means of the pen. He Taught man that which he knew not 96: 1-5 The Koran, which is the rhetorical question, or they may be the same without knowing them with knowledge: Is he who is obedient during hours of the night, prostrate and standing, fearing the Hereafter and hoping for the mercy of his Lord Say. Are those who know equal to those who do not know, But only men of understanding? admonition. urges believers to pray for the progress of knowledge 39: 9. Exalted God, the True King not in haste with the Quran before its revelation to thee is completed, but say. My Lord, increase me in knowledge 20:. 114. Right to maintenance Sura 11: 6 shows that every living being for its existence depends on God: And there is no creature on earth but its provision is due from Allah .. 11: 6 A key concept in the Koran, which forms the basis of the socio-economic and political system of Islam is that the ownership of all is not with a person but with God. Since God is the universal Creator, every creature has the right to share in what belongs to God. This means that every human being has the right to livelihood. Those who have economic or political power, have no right to deprive others of the basic necessities of life by getting the resources to appropriate God has created for the benefit of all mankind unlawful use or abuse Right to work According to the teachings of the Quran, every man and every woman the right to work, whether it consists of paid work or volunteer services. Revenues are among those who have worked to make -no matter whether this is a man or a woman. As in Sura 4:32 Men will have a share of what they earn and women shall have a share of what they have earned. Right to privacy The Quran recognizes the right to privacy as a human right and establishes rules for the protection of the domestic life of the individual against unauthorized intrusions from within or from without. O you who believe, not houses other than your own without alerting their people and to greet you. That is better for you, so that you may receive admonition. 24:27 Right to protection against slander, gossip and mockery The Quran recognizes the right of people to be protected from defamation, sarcasm, insulting nicknames and slander. O ye who believe! Let not some men nation that is probably better than they, not mocked, nor women other women who may be better than them. And do not backbite one another, nor call each other by nicknames. Evil is (the giving) a bad name after the acceptance of the faith, and those who do not repent are the unjust. O ye who believe! Avoid generally for suspicion is a sin. And spy not, neither backbite one another. Would any of you the flesh of his dead brother? Ye abhor it surely. Fear God, surely God is Oft-Returning, Most Merciful. 49:11, 12 God loves not the utterance of offensive language in public, except by one who is wronged, and God is Hearing, Knowing. 4: 148. hadith: Abu Hurairah said that the Messenger of God said, Do you know what backbiting (or gossip) is? They said: Allah and His Messenger know best. He said: (If) you say something about your brother, what he does not like, thats slander. Someone said, But what if my brother is so as I say? He said: If it is as you say, you have gossiped and if he is not as you say, then you have slandered him. (Muslim) Also states that no one should be vilified on the grounds of alleged negligence and that those who are guilty of inciting scandal will be punished severely in both this and the next world. Why did not you tell when you heard it: It is not for us to talk about it. Blessed art Thou, this is a great blasphemy! God warns you to never repeat anything back if you are believers. And God explains the commandments; God is Knowing, Wise. Those who love that slander should be spread among the believers, will in this world and in the Hereafter is a painful punishment. God knows, and you do not know 24:16 - 19 Right to develop aesthetic sense and enjoying God created gifts In fact, it can be said that the right of a person to develop his aesthetic sense so that he can appreciate beauty in all its forms, and the right to enjoy that which God has provided food for mankind, are rooted in the life-affirming vision of the Koran. It is He Who made the earth manageable for you, so walk in the paths and enjoy her gifts ...... 67: 15. Right to leave the country in situations of oppression According to the Quran is a Muslim initially loyal to God and not to a particular area. In order to fulfill his prophetic mission, the Prophet decided to leave his hometown of Mecca to Medina and pulling. This event, the Hijra, has great historical and spiritual significance for Muslims to leave their place of origin when it is a place of evil and oppression, which they can not fulfill their duties to God, or where there is no justice prevails. Verily angels take the souls of those who die while this doing to their own souls, they say: In what were ye They will say: We were oppressed in the land They (the angels) will, however. say, was not Allahs earth spacious that ye could have migrated therein? They are, their habitation will be hell, an evil destination. 4:97. Right to the good life The Koran defends the right of people to just the good life to live. This good life, composed of many elements, is possible when a man lives in a righteous environment. According to the teachings of the Quran, justice is a prerequisite for peace and peace is a prerequisite for human development. In a just society all the aforementioned rights can be exercised without difficulty. Moreover, such a society also respects the right to a safe place to stay, the protection of personal property, the protection of ones treaties, the right to free movement, social and legal autonomy for minorities, the protection of holy places and the right of a person to return to his spiritual center. Gossiping about: An old man with a son on the road. He sat on a donkey and the boy ran beside it. Look at that man ... he lets his young son walk while he himself makes it easy .... what selfish, was whispered. This man let his son sitting on the back of the donkey and went there himself next run. Look, kids today have no respect for the elderly .... that kid let that old respectable man walking and he goes down with his young legs resting. So the boy got off and walked father and son very democratic one at each side of the donkey. Have you ever seen such a thing ?! They have a donkey, but walk beside ..... tongues speaking now. So they both sat down on the back of the donkey. Oh .... very .... what animal cruelty. There was nothing .... father and son poached their sleeves, took just get breath and lifted the donkey together and carried him on their shoulders ......
