GENESEO: Livingston County Sheriff Thomas J. Dougherty has issued a travel advisory for all of Livingston County. The advisory is due to excessive runoff from heavy rainfall that is causing flooding of roadways. Please use caution and avoid standing and/or running water on local roadways. The Sheriff does note that a travel advisory does NOT close roadways and the purpose is to educate residents on the concern while operating vehicles and to advise people to use caution. Travel Advisory; caution is advised since hazardous conditions could be encountered. The northern end of Livingston County is having the most issues with flooding. Please use extreme caution. Patrols are in the areas with the most concern.
