***GENTLE PUPPY CRAVES AFFECTION*** A volunteer writes: Buddie is an adorable little boy dressed in a lovely cinnamon suit. His eyes are intense and make sure they keep a tab on me at all time. He must have rubbed himself to some wet paint as his coat is stained by places. He is thin and his nails are quite long. Someone forgot to care for and feed sweet Buddie….Buddie is calm in his kennel, chewing on his owl toy. He is ready when I open his door and leashed without effort. He walks beautifully on the leash, so carefree, tail wagging softly in the air. He looks so happy. Buddie seems to like other dog and even wants to play. What do you expect ? He is only 10 months of age…He eliminates on the way, without marking. Free in a pen, Buddie is rather clingy, staying close by my side and trying to fit his tiny body completely on my lap. He was deprived since he left his mothers side and look for warmth and love wherever he can. He trusts humans so much…. and I hope that soon he will be proved right to do so…There must be a person or a family out there to open their home and heart to this gentle puppy. Buddie is at the Manhattan shelter, a gentle, needy and cute youngster who just dreams to become your forever best friend.
