GEORGIA Get active. Senator Chambliss needs to be watched with vigilance and outed. GOP senator very close to introducing cybersecurity bill. He is working on CISPA 3. Chambliss said he and Feinstein have been working closely with their House counterparts, CISPA authors Reps. Mike Rogers (R-Mich.) and Dutch Ruppersberger (D-Md.). He predicted that if the Senate passes the information-sharing bill, it could be merged with CISPA. You cant have protection from a cybersecurity standpoint without the NSA being integrally involved, he said. I mean, theyre the experts. You herd it right. Senator Chambliss is planning to reaffirm the unconstitutional actions of the NSA. Do you about FISA, or remember ACTA, SOPA, PIPA CISPA 1, CISPA 2? All of these violate do process and the fourth amendment. The Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act, otherwise known as CISPA is a broad and over-reaching piece of legislation that threatens the privacy and security of every American. This legislation basically permits any type of company involved with the internet to openly share your information with the federal government and the National Security Agency (NSA). Why? Well, to protect you of course. The claim is that the government needs to be able to have access to trillions of pieces of data to make sure they protect us from cyber threats. What is a cyber threat? And if they are looking for a criminal, why can’t they go to a judge and get a warrant? Why are they allowed to have absolutely no oversight in their search for information and data on people? I am not a terrorist – and I am not a cyber threat – why should they be able to collect information and data on me if I am not a criminal? And if they think I am a criminal, then they should be required to go through a judge to get a warrant – that is a pertinent check and balance. To make sure that each individual’s civil liberties are protected. This type of legislation should never even be debated on the floor of the House of Congress. I move for action to block any and ALL attempts to act in non-accordance with the Constitution. We should be a stop to this before it even reaches the floor.
