GET TO KNOW ME, share at will: Jason Swanston has over 17 years of animation, video game coding, and computer science experience. He was born on July 7th, 1976 in New York City, to a mother who worked in data processing for over thirty years from San Diego and a father who was a entrepreneur throughout the U.S. Mr. Swanstons family unit pushed him to be as creative as possible and learn everything about anything that peaked his interest. At the age of 13, he was accepted to New York Universities Science and Technology Entry Program for minorities that had a specific IQ and understanding of computer science. At the age of 14, he was accepted to Columbia Universitys college program to pursue a career in biology. During his stay at Columbia, Jason worked as an intern at Advanced Multimedia Systems, a company that manufactured hi-end computers used for CGI based Hollywood movies. From there, he learned animation, graphic design and software design that expanded his creativity, which eventually would land him digital positions at major record labels and television networks. After finishing his university stay, Jason decided to study video game programming, and new media design. At 17, he taught himself video game coding by going to Barnes and Noble for hours on end to read books on how to write and build video game platforms. Next, he went on to build his first video game entitled K-9 Contact (a cyborg dog fighting video game), as well as several other animal oriented P2P video games. With his background in programming and an understanding of the way Hollywood works, Jason then began to develop his browser based streaming media proprietary software. Jason noticed that online entertainment communities were being underrepresented; he had some new and innovative ideas in mind to help them flourish. He set out to conceive software that would revolutionize the way users watch video online and socialize with friends. Soon Jason would give birth to the dawn of true Internet TV. Mr. Swanston is a leader in new media technology for todays user and cable TV subscriber. He has created the first online cable TV social network, OpenVision Networks International Online, Inc. (OVNIO TV). His website, the beta under in 2008, garnered 67,000 subscribers in 105 countries (Hosting Source 1and1). He partnered with content deliver network giant LIMELIGHT networks in NYC (they power GOOGLE video & YouTube ) to track his beta testers viewing habits. To his expectations, OVNIO TV beta subscribers stayed logged in to the site over 3 to 6 hours daily. Watching scheduled programmed streams and socializing. His vision brings together the cable subscriber, music consumer and movie buff on one streaming media website: OVNIO.tv. Jasons software and new media education, skills, and abilities transcend well beyond his bio. He has comprised a team of young innovators as a staff to create a paradigm shift in the international entertainment arena.
