GETTING A HEAD Every day begins with my Daddy taking me for my 6:30 walk around 7 am. My Mommy fixes my breakfast while we are gone and goes back to bed. I race through the door when we return and gobble up every molecule of my breakfast. Then I race to the bed and lick her face about 30 times, wrestle and cuddle with my old Daddy, and generally carry on like a crazy dog because I am so excited about eating. After that, my Daddy pets me and scratches my belly for a while, then begins his work day. Sundays are different because my Mommy watches a dumb TV show as she lies in bed. Yesterday, some boring guy was talking to some boring actress about her boring life while my Daddy and I were having our wrestle and cuddle on the bed. My Mommy complained that she could not see the screen because our heads were in the way. My Daddy looked at her and said, “Who would you rather see, the people on TV or Emma playing with me?” My Mommy thought it over and said, “I’d rather watch you,” and so we kept wrestling and cuddling because we are better than anything on TV! Doesn’t my Mommy loving me make this one of my best stories, ever?
