GIA JOINED HIRO ACROSS THE RAINBOW BRIDGE ON 12TH OCTOBER 2014: Gia (little black lop bunny) means dark flower and she was our girl, nearly 8 yrs old, and one of Hiros little bun wives. Gia absolutely adored Hiro and together with Tulip they nurtured and looked after her, she was like their daughter. She would snuggle between them and was always seeking out Hiro. Gia suffered form (what had become) inoperable dental disease and after Hiro died a part of her also died. Her little frail body could not keep the dental disease in check and I woke up on Sunday morning to find her open mouth breathing and in distress... her condition could not be fixed. We had to make the heartbreaking decision (together with our compassionate and caring vets) to let her go. It has taken until today to talk about this and at some time in the future we will discuss when it is the right time for euthanasia. Gia could not cope with the death of her Hiro and her condition took a distinct downturn when he died. She leaves a very brave and caring little dutch bunny, Tulip, and our hearts go out to her after losing her soul bunny mate as well as her little girl Gia... RIP sweet Gia. - Judi and Bryce
