GIFT FOR GIFT PROJECT The organization Solidascension in cooperation with the UNESCO youth forum offers to support 18 students from 6 different countries (*now including Hungary*) to create and run their own non-profit association in order to fight unequal opportunities at school and promote social inclusion. The project “Gift for Gift” lasts 18 months and involves 3 phases: after receiving a distance training in education and NGO management, the youth leaders are supported in the development of their association during a year. By the end of this period all youth leaders will be invited to participate in an international evaluation seminar and will become members of the same network. Don’t hesitate to apply! Conditions to become a youth leader: • be aged 18-24 • be enrolled in university (with student status) • be from disadvantaged backgrounds (low income, marginalised or minority groups) • have strong communication skills in either English or French • share the vision and values of Solidascension • have the desire to establish a sustainable non-profit organisation designed to support young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, stigmatized and/or belonging to minority groups in their home country. *Phiren Amenca can support you in application process* solidascension.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/GIFT-FOR-GIFT-UNESCO-Call-for-participants.pdf
