GILLY IS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION!!!! Gilly is a 5 year old, Chihuahua x Boston terrier mix, female, 12lbs Gilly came to us as a very troubled little girl. She was found as a stray and ended up in a shelter for almost half a year. Once arriving into foster care, confused and scared...she eventually realized people werent that bad. She desperately wanted to love but was so sensitive to touch that it took longer for her to trust her foster family. Within a month we were able to leash her, pick her up and put clothing on her without her rolling over or snapping all the time. See little scared Gilly here: https://facebook/MightyMuttsDogTraining/photos/pb.130265580351201.-2207520000.1421470337./864117713632647/?type=3&theater Gilly has had it hard but this sweet girl looks to each day as a new adventure. If it is time for a walk, shes ready to rumble! If its a yucky snow day then she will trot next to you as you putter around the house and lay beside you while you watch your favourite soaps. She has a very interesting way of crashing on the sofa: https://facebook/MightyMuttsDogTraining/photos/pb.130265580351201.-2207520000.1421470339./858287070882378/?type=3&theater Come bed time, Gilly will jump into the bed and snuggle next to you snoring away (after a good ear rub). She might get a bit giddy at times also: https://facebook/video.php?v=884294591614959&set=vb.130265580351201&type=3&theater Gilly is great with all dogs and cats. She LOVES playing with both and would do best with another small dog or playful cat as company. She also likes to play tug and fetch when she gets bubbly. Gilly walks great on leash and loves to meet new people, however, until she really knows them they cannot manipulate her. Gilly also loves to sing! When people come to visit they say Wheres Gilly Woo Woo!?!? Gilly usually runs up to them, and breaks out in a song! She has the cutest little howl that will make your heart melt! Here she is singing with a new friend: https://facebook/video.php?v=853834794660939&set=vb.130265580351201&type=3&theater Here she is singing Christmas Carols with her foster family (notice the change in tone): https://facebook/video.php?v=856141867763565&set=vb.130265580351201&type=3&theater We are seeking a forever home for Gilly with no children. A home with another social and fun dog or cat would be great but is not necessary. Experienced handlers are a must as they will need to continue working on Gillys handling while she continues to progress.
