GIMME 50 FOR 5 WEEKS! No, Im not talking dollars. Im talking reps! In the next 5 weeks everyone will be faced with extra food, snacks, desserts and drinks at home, work, and just about any other place you go. Instead of waiting till New Years to make a resolution, how about we get started now to make a simple effort to start doing something. This is intended more for the beginner who does not already have a regular workout routine. But, a little extra never hurt anyone, so even you hard-core gym goers can participate and help keep the beginners motivated. Each week Ill post a video of a simple at home exercise with various skill levels. The goal: PERFORM THE MOVEMENT 50 TIMES EVERY DAY. It can be be 50 times when you wake up, or 25 morning and 25 evening. The 50 reps shouldnt take more than a couple minutes, so if you feel adventurous, do 50 morning and 50 evening. Another good time to get them done is during the commercials of your favorite TV show or during football halftime over the long Thanksgiving weekend. In fact, get your whole Thanksgiving gathering involved and comment to this post with a pic of your group performing the exercise! First up is a simple side-to-side step...enjoy!
