GINGER SPICE UPDATE: We may have some good news for Ginger! Her Veterinarian looked at her leg last week and decided to put a hard splint on it in order to see if she would ever use the leg or if she would need to have it amputated. She was rechecked today and her doctor changed her to a soft splint. Ginger actually has some range of motion in her leg! She will be rechecked in another week.....her Veterinarian was very pleased with her progress today and is hopeful that the leg will be able to be saved. The splint does not slow Ginger Spice down....her foster told me that she runs through the house and plays all day long. We will keep you posted on her progress.
