GIRLFRIEND ALLEGEDLY KILLS LOVER . The community of Bakau were thrown in deep shock and disbelief after a young woman allegedly stabbed her long term partner to death with a sharp knife she bought straight from a nearby shop . It happened around 11pm at night on Wednesday after the alleged perpetrator was reported to have visited the residence of her former boyfriend with a one year old child fathered by the boyfriend. One eyewitness said the young woman by the name Mariama Conteh alias KUKU protested to her late boyfriend, Tijan Bah to give her money to buy clothes for their child for tomorrows muslim feast tobaski:which demand they added, was rejected by Tijan. Sources said that was the cause of a bitter brawl between the two after the woman scolded him . The deceased later manage to go to his mother to inform her about his girlfriends unacceptable attitude. According to sources the boy mother advised her son to go to the accuseds mother and report the matter . The accused reportedly waited them at junction 5 with a knife she allegedly bought from a nearby shop .upon seeing her late boyfriend and his mother coming, she threw her daughter on the ground and when the late Bah attempted to pick her up , the accused allegedly stabbed him on the neck and he fell down , and he was pronounced dead at the Bakau health center . The young was later arrested and taken into custody at the Bakau police station.
