“GIVE WAY TO AN AMBULANCE” “Every life is precious.” Imagine an ambulance ferrying through the road on a busy traffic day with its alarms blaring…… One day any one of us or any of our dear ones can be in it frustrated and anxiously waiting to reach the nearest medical facility earliest. Otherwise, in the same traffic we are all there trying hard to reach our office, home, school or meeting in time and forgetting for a moment that giving way to this ambulance can save one precious life. At the most we might reach our destination bit late but trying to reach in time ignoring this one precious life is utterly dastardly and selfish. We from “Recon Face” launched a campaign to bring awareness among everyone on the importance of a simple gesture of giving “Way to an Ambulance”. In this process we ask three simple questions to formulate a best plan to implement and promote this dream of ours. Your answers and suggestions might go long way in helping us in solving this menacing problem in our city and perhaps in our country. Please take two minutes in sharing this information with your friends and answering these questions. Let the message spread…… 1. Do you think that everyone out there driving, voluntarily and instantly give way to an ambulance when it is behind them? A. Yes. B. No 2. Are our traffic police or police forces are so strict in implementing the rule of allowing an ambulance before anything else, as much as they strive to send a VIP or a politicians convoy? A. Yes they make a way to the ambulance B. They are least bothered. 3. Which of the following methods you think is practically possible in our set up? A. Creating a separate dedicated lane for an ambulance. B. Instead of a dedicated lane, let the ambulance always drive along the center of the road and all other vehicles will move away and stop on the sides until an ambulance passes by… If you have any other new suggestions or ideas please feel free to share or mail. Every suggestion is valuable. Team “Recon Face “is going to start a survey among the ambulance drivers to collect the information on what they think is most effective model for them to drive fast and safe. Your feedback and this survey feedback will be used in formulating a method which will be taken up with GHMC authorities, Police Commissioner and Traffic Police authorities. Also the team “Recon Face” will be touring to educate the APSRTC bus drivers association, Hyderabad’s city auto driver’s unions and various other public and private sector offices, IT Companies to implement this model.
