GIVE to Grow: Illinois Tornado Recovery Campaign On Sunday, November 17, 2013, residents of Illinois experienced a tornado outbreak on record as the deadliest and most violent tornado outbreak in November. Trees Forever has worked with the Illinois communities impacted by the over two dozen tornadoes, witnessed the devastation, and seen the resilience the communities demonstrate. After the clean-up and rebuilding begins, the loss of trees – the trees we take for granted, but that make a town a community – is one of the things that makes the loss so much worse.
