NITI Aayog will also have a Vice-Chairperson and a Chief Executive Officer (fixed tenure, in the rank of Secretary to the Government of India), who will be appointed by the Prime Minister. M Sathiyavathy:Union Government of India has appointed M Sathiyavathy as Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). She became the first women DGCA and will hold post till 28 January 2017. K. Radhakrishnan:Koppilll Radhakrishnan has been retired as the Chairman of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). He was appointed as the Chairman of the organization in October 2009 as successor of G. Madhavan Nair. A.K. Mittal:A.K. Mittal has been appointed as the Chairman of Railway Board of India. He succeeded Arunendra Kumar. IRDA:Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDA) was re-named as Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India. The change in name came in to effect after the promulgation of Insurance Laws (Amendment) Ordinance 2014, by the President.
