The poignant video that accompanies it spans Glen’s life from singing in the studio, home movies, and clips from throughout his career. There are even images of doctors discussing his brain scans with him. Im still here but yet Im gone/ I dont play guitar or sing my songs, the song begins as it details his struggles with Alzheimers. Mr. Campbell, who is 78, was admitted to a special care facility in Nashville in April 2014. Im Not Gonna Miss You was written specifically for the upcoming documentary “Glen Campbell: Ill Be Me” which opens in New York on October 24th with a national release to follow.
