Ive found out that quite a few songs that Ive heard in the last few years are Casting Crowns songs. All You Ever Wanted is the first song that I heard from this wonderful album. I memorized it, singing and playing the bass to it in my living room on work breaks while the kids were at school. The acoustics are better in the bathroom though, and I have convinced myself that I can parrot Mark. Next was Dream for You followed by Just be Held, and now Waiting on the Night to Fall. This is a very well put together album, that has been a constant inspiration to me since I heard this song. I would love to come to a concert, but Im in east Texas and by the time I started looking into concert dates, yall were finished with your Texas dates.Thank you for this album and your presentation of the Thrive concept. About the artists and poets, etc. how do you know my private spiritual journey and write songs about them before I go through them? Why is it that if I tell people its real, I am treated as though I am the most screwed up freak on the planet but you can publish songs about my experiences word for word and you are acceptable and even compensated for it. I want to know who you are and how you know my story before I do. Like right now I am writing this, asking these questions and your song happened to say you dont need the answers to all of lifes questions please tell me. Im too tired to keep doing this. Do you know God? Does He tell you my story? How can this all really be a stage? What purpose do I serve? He wanted to learn and play one of your songs so of ALL your songs he choose was Praise you in the Storm....NOW,He has been diagnosed with a extremely rare brain cancer and he is still going to Praise God thru this storm...We have tickets to see you in Quincy Ill. WE WILL SEE YOU ON JULY 12th.!!!elsabedt1 week 6 days agoGood day. I would like to share a little about my story. I gave my live to Christ beginning of 2006. October 2006 was the previous time casting crowns was in South Africa. Your concert in 2006 was the fist time in 5 years I set foot in a church. I had the longing to be part of a community but did not know how. A guy I barely know asked me to go with him to the concert. This was a start of a very good relationship with God and this guy. The guy opened my I to God and he took me to church and showed my what it means to be a Christen. I when to attend the concert in June this year and all these memories came back, and I released how much I have grown in God sins the fist time I heard casting crowns. This was an amazing praise and worship session with Casting Crowns in Pretoria. Please do not wait 8 year again to come to us again. What I liked is hearing the story behind the songs.
