GLOW TODAY: No parallels for Gods love! Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. (Romans 5:9) Gods love has no parallels. We cannot imagine or fathom His love because in the Lord Jesus we have an unparalleled relationship that is restored. While we were sinners, Christ died for us. He didnt expect anything to come from us who were by nature enemies with God. He expressed His great love for us on that cross by His grace and when we appropriate by faith we receive the blessings to its fullest. God, when He showered His love on humanity and not wrath, we understand the enormity of the New Covenant. He justified us by His blood and did not require us to do anything to get reconciled. He did not do a barter sort of exchange. He showed agape love that He just expects people to understand His love and come to Him. The Lord Jesus in shedding His blood justified us, made us whole in an instant when we trusted in Him as our Savior. Hallelujah, the blood of Jesus - but for it our destinies would be elsewhere. The Greek word for much more is pollÅ. The love of God doesnt end with just showcasing His love. His love reaches down to our evil nature, justifies us by His blood and also makes us objects of divine mercy and not wrath. The wrath of the Lord will be displayed very soon on the earth. We have been saved by that wrath by His great mercy. This verse doesnt mean God doesnt have an emotion of wrath. He has it but His love has changed our destiny!
