GM Facebook Familia. Well as you may have guessed this compulsive gambler was at Hon Dah last night. Fortunately I was sitting close to an off duty officer, Lute Littleman so I had nothing to fear. But I also had God on my side. I do not fear death because if it was my time to go then so be it and it was a good day to die. I could see fear in the eyes of many frantic individuals as they attempted to flea the Casino. It could have been chaos and craziness. I myself kept calm as I continued to gamble. The not knowing what is expected of me as a patron was frustrating. There was an occassional keep calm announcement over a poor intercom system that kept breaking up. Along with no plan, no control, and no information until many had already departed in sheer panic. However after a plan was set in place (Im assuming), people were given proper instruction. I suppose everything happened in the manner it was suppose too but I can help but wonder what could have been done differently to avoid the taking of life. But again Si La Vi... Thank you to the officer that had to make that call. I know that wasnt easy. My continued prayers to WMAT finest and their duties that never end. But also to everyone who has been affected by this ordeal. This has brought some reality that, Yes. Something like this can happen on our reservation. So whats the next step? Does it have to take a tragedy to open our eyes? We are a people living in a community of self destruction every day. Lets continue to engage in Unity and continue to love and pray for our fellow man. PEACE
