GM Father I thank you for such a quiet and bless morning. I thank you for my family and friends and the blessings and joyfulness of the Lord. It is a good thing to wake up in the morning and give thanks to the Father. I had the most bless Wednesday sitting and listening to two elderly ladies, they are so funny when talking about olden days. And then they ask what time does sweet daddy come on, and we has no idea who they were talking about, and they were talking about Steve Harvey, they had me in tears, talking they would give anything to have one of his shoes under their bed. I laughed so hard until tears was running, because old people have the greatest sense of humor. If you want to make your day brighter, find some that talk about when they were growing up, it has its good and bad, but to hear them share, its hilarious. I love being with the elderly, thats my passion in this life, and no matter what, we all need someone. In my devotion there is a quote from Socrates which says: If all our misfortunes were laid in one common heap whence everyone must take an equal portion, most people would be content to take their own and depart. What powerful word, I dont want to just be content with what I have, I want everything God has for me, be bless, love you all.
