GMA aired a segment about BMI tests being done in some schools. If a child is overweight or underweight the parents and that child are already aware of that. Our children have enough worry about in this society of who whose fat or skinny. I do agree the schools should educated families on healthier eating habits. As children reach adolences their bodies are changing and everything else they have to deal with at this stage of their young lives...In addition to their report cards their getting a report card on their BMI....REALLY? Our children are already struggling with being accepted by their peers...This not a good way to promote a healthy self image. I Do agree our children are overweight due to inactivity . How about the schools should provide healthier lunches. Its not the childs fault they are overweight...Its the parents for allow their children to sit around playing video games or watching tv...what happen to going outside playing....OMG NOT TO MENTION ALL THE FAST FOODS! BTW PARENTS Please talk to our children about bullying...whether they are being bullied or they are the bully. Our children in this day and age are dealing with so much already.
