GMAIL - CALL PHONE - If any of you use the "Call Phone" feature in Google email and sadly agreed to let it upgrade to "Hangouts" and suddenly lost your ability to call anywhere in the US for FREE...?... I just managed to get my "Call Phone" feature *back* by clicking on the "Chat" icon at the very bottom of the left hand column. I hope this works for you. Apparently, Google is claiming that "Hangouts" will *eventually* offer lots of features, including assignment of a phone number that people can call you back on, instead of the current lack of that feature in plain "Call Phone"... it has only taken me almost 6 HOURS to finally stumble on this method to switch back to "Call Phone". After clicking the chat icon, the previous icons suddenly reappeared in their usual place. Some of us still like the old simple ways. LOL! -
