GMFBF & F. Its Saturday, the 12th of April, 2014. In spite of the pollen, it is a beautiful morning in Sanford, North Carolina. Step outside and look around. The flowers are blooming, the birds are singing, and Heaven is smiling down on us. If today is your birthday or anniversary, I send you a HAPPY. Lets all be HAPPY! WHO HAS MADE A DIFFERENCE IN YOUR LIFE? Today, lets pause for a moment. Name ten people who have taught you something worthwhile. Name 5 friends who have helped you in a difficult time. When its all said & done, you will realize that the people who make a difference are not the ones with the credentials, but the ones with the concern. Just a word of inspiration from someone, unexpectedly, will make you feel taller than the Empire State Building. This week, a young woman I admire told me, If I havent told you, I want to tell you what an inspiration you are. You re always willing to help others without seeking something in return. You have helped me in many ways, and you have helped my daughter. The confession took me by surprise, because even though I enjoy helping others, I sometimes get disgusted and I speak in a tone thats not so pleasant. It may be taken the wrong way. In my offers for help and support, there are no big Is and small Us. Our circles encompass many people of different races, backgrounds and ideaologies. Sometimes, people only need a WORD, to give them courage. Many have been walked on and walked over because they feared repercussion for speaking their mind. Im not one to HOLD BACK. That was a past fault & it got me NO WHERE. Today, I say what I THINK NEEDS TO BE SAID AT THE TIME, AND I DO WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE, AT THE TIME. It may be only giving a college student a few pennies to get a sandwich, or a girl scout who needs to sell just one more box of cookies, or a young person who needs a uniform and just cant find the money to make the purchase. It could be a senior citizen who just needs someone to talk to, and it could just be BECAUSE. Somebody prayed for me. That includes my mom, grandmom and others unknown. Somebody prayed and is praying for you, also. Stop for just a moment and think of those persons who have made a difference in your life. IT WILL MAKE YOU SMILE. It will also put you on a path to make a difference in someones life. P.S. YOU CANT TAKE IT WITH YOU. Good people have good things in their hearts.
