GML Submission Guidelines Dear Best Class Presidents, Greetings in the name of Rotary! To make the best of the Publication Department – it is necessary to schedule our newsletter (GML) well in advance. As we have scheduled every 1st week of its month during the area meeting to distribute the GML, the editorial staff has issued guidelines in regards to submission of materials for publication. The task of commissioning and collating the materials in the first place, can prove to be a challenge – particularly when you are trying to get properly captioned photos of projects from busy colleagues. As a reminder to all potential contributors, it would do them well to set aside plenty of time for collecting raw materials in advance of the submission date. In order to accommodate all clubs wishing to have their projects featured, we request that clubs submit only two of the best photos for the said project. Materials that miss the deadline runs a high risk of not being in time for printing. Deadline for submission of captioned pictures of the club’s project will be on November 20, 2014. For easy captioning, just complete the 4 ws of WHO, WHAT, WHEN and WHERE. Rotary International theme for the month of December is “Family Month” and for the DG Edmond Aguilar Caravan of Service it is “Ninong Ko Ay Rotarian”. Projects in line with the current themes are especially encouraged. The Publication team is now inviting Rotary Clubs in D3810 to enter into a sponsorship agreement with GML, to sponsor an advertisement highlighting their clubs project or accomplishment. This paid advertisement can be a public image project. Suggestions from potential sponsors and advertisers should be forwarded to the Advertising Manager PP Henry Ongchan at mobile no. 09178416868.
