GMO IN EUROPE - THEY’RE SO GOOD FOR THE EARTH & ITS INHABITANTS: Anyone with a miniscule grain of common sense should be able to understand that GMOs by their very nature are not all that their progenitors claim. The fact that GMO producers spend billions promoting them is a certain indicator of their motivation. It has nothing to do with health or feeding the Earth’s exploding human population, but everything to do with making a buck, at the expense of the Earth, the only place in the known universe which supports life as we [humans] comprehend life. The very nature of GMO development is at least one hint of their inherent danger: genetic modification by humans at least inhibits, and more likely eliminates, the ability of other life forms to adapt to GMO modifications; many of those life forms we, humans, are dependent on [e.g.: honey bees]. “Peer review” is certainly a valid scientific procedure, but it didn’t help the Titanic one damn bit, and it is merely prolonging the GMO day of reckoning before humanity, very much akin to Climate Change, the science of which baffles deniers, ergo their denial. GMOs are very much like the Titanic and Climate Change; if you can’t imagine any connection between those two, that’s your peer review challenge, not mine.
