GMTS....Guam Miniscule Transit System. Oops....Mass Transit System is almost useless as it doesnt run on weekends, finishes at 5PM when it DOES run, and routes are so infrequent that people often wait for hours for a connecting bus, making it almost impossible for those without some access to private transportation to hold jobs, unless it is nearby. So.....what do Guams senators do about the woeful situation? a) procure funding to buy more buses? b) hire more drivers? c) decide to take ANY meaningful steps to improve the situation? d) the day after the most recent election, vote themselves all a $24,000 pay raise for....as the governor stated....their exemplary performance. Ding!Ding!Ding!Ding! We have a winner!
