GNRD Congratulates the Elderly and Orphans with Ramadan gnrd.net/seemore.php?id=388 The Global Network for Rights and Development Regonal Office in Dubai, represented by Mr. Mohammed Deeb , Ms. Faten Kablawi and Mr. Sebastian Palanca has visited the elderly center in Ajman, where the crew has participated in the activity of the network to gather elderly with orphans. This meeting comes within the Dubai office’s initiative in cooperation with the Nursing Home in Ajman and Ihsan Charitable Society to congratulate the elderly and orphans for the holy month of Ramadan. After Mr. Mohammed Dib has welcomed attendees and presented the GNRD and its main goals and valuing the role of older people over the years, the members of the network have distributed gifts for the elderly as well as the distribution of gifts and food parcels for orphaned children. The meeting was remarkably warm as elderly have shared their own experiences and memories as well as their advice and guidance to children; it was such a great opportunity to round up two different generations. At the end of this meeting, GNRD-Dubai representatives have distributed lunch and desserts in order to create a joyful atmosphere for the attendees. Ms. Shamsa Quarabian, Director of the GNRD-Dubai, has praised the role of care centers in providing help the people in real need, and emphasized the importance of intensified efforts and coordination among all the concerned parties to develop the initiative. The Global Network of Rights and Development would like to thank Ajman’s Nursing Elderly Care Center for giving the opportunity to meet the elderly and orphans and for their constant efforts and valuable services to provide comfort to the elderly. The Global Network for Rights and Development would also like to wish Ramadan Mubarak to the Arab and Islamic world by emphasizing on the necessity to provide much care for the elderly and orphans all over the world.
