GO MANNY! PERFECT GAME TOURNAMENT STARTED TODAY AND MANNY HIT A HOME RUN, TRIPLE, AND A SINGLE!!!! Proud of my son! Offenses dominate as Team Easton outscores the East Cobb Astros 17 11-10 Team Easton and the East Cobb Astros 17 lit up the scoreboard on Thursday as they combined for 21 runs. In the end, Team Easton won the offensive battle 11-10 in six innings. The teams combined for 16 hits, including six extra base hits. Team Easton starter Hunter Orr struggled, allowing six in two-thirds of an inning, but the bullpen let up four runs and the offense banged out eight to pick up the slack and secure the win for Team Easton. The game was back-and-forth heading into the second, with five lead changes. Team Easton pulled out the win thanks to a strong second inning. A sacrifice fly by Trey Akins scored Aaron Hill and gave Team Easton the lead for good. Team Easton staved off the East Cobb Astros 17 as the East Cobb Astros 17 were unable to match Team Easton down the stretch. The East Cobb Astros 17 scored on a two-run home run by Manny Chavarria in the fourth inningand an RBI single by Matthew Nall in the sixth inning. Unfortunately, the East Cobb Astros 17 werent able to take the lead back. Austin Tibbett got the win in relief for Team Easton. Austin pitched 5 1/3 innings and allowed three runs. Tyler Tillman had a short outing, lasting only two innings on the hill for the East Cobb Astros 17 before being removed. Tyler surrendered five hits and 10 runs. Team Easton was sparked by Cory Price and Aaron, who teamed up for two hits and three RBIs. The top of the first saw Team Easton take an early lead, 3-0. The scoreboard lit up again for Team Easton when Hardin scored on an error and Price scored on an error. After a quick strike from Team Easton, the East Cobb Astros 17 responded with six runs in the first. The East Cobb Astros 17 scored on , a two-run triple by Manny Chavarria, an RBI single by Trent Jarrell, and a two-run single by Kyle King. Team Easton went up for the duration of the game after the second inning. Additional runs came from a two-run double by Aaron and two singles, one by Manny Chavarria.
