GOA Clergy Couple Care website launched. January 19, 2015 Dear Fathers and Presvyteres, Greetings in this New Year of our Lord Jesus Christ! May He bless all of us as we continue to serve Him and His Holy Church as clergy families. I am pleased to announce the launching of a Clergy Couple Care Website exclusively for priests and presvyteres of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese. The launching of this website is part of a larger vision of ministry to our clergy couples and represents a small step forward. We are grateful to Leadership 100 for funding this endeavor. The Clergy Couple Care Website is populated with articles, resources and links pertaining to concerns related to marriage and to life as a priest, presvytera and clergy couple. The purpose of this site is to create a safe, secure space for priests and presvyteres to have a resource for growing their marriages, discussing issues of concern with one another, and accessing current and relevant books, articles and research findings on marriage and particularly clergy couple marriage. Presently, the resources on the website are limited in scope and number; as more resources are screened and identified, they will be added to the site. I welcome suggestions for additional resources. Each month will feature a marriage enrichment focus, an article of interest with discussion questions, and a discussion board question. Utmost care has been taken to assure the anonymity and confidentiality of those who use the site. Those who choose to participate on the discussion board can do so with complete anonymity. To begin utilizing this resource, please register by visiting goaclergycouple.org and choosing “Register For Access” from the menu. When registering, you must use the email address to which this email was sent. This is the only way we can verify your identity and is a safeguard to protect the confidentiality of the site. After you register, here are the final steps of the process. CONFIRMATION OF REQUEST TO REGISTER: You will receive an email, which will contain your username and password. Please keep this on file. Once approved, you can use it to log in to the site. APPROVAL/DISAPPROVAL: We will look to approve your permission to utilize this site; this is accomplished by matching your registered email address with official APC records. FINAL NOTIFICATION: We will notify you with the results of your approval by email. Thank you for your patience in regards to registration.
