GOAL REEK CHALLENGE – SUNDAY 28 JULY 2013 GOAL are looking for walking and hiking enthusiasts from all over Ireland to sign up to take part in this year’s ‘Reek Sunday’ challenge on Sunday, July 28th. We are asking people to take on the climb for GOAL and help raise money to contribute towards providing much needed water and sanitation facilities in a slum school in Kolkata in India. We want as many people as possible take part. In particular, we’re looking for individuals to organise a group of people who are up for the challenge; whether that’s family, friends, colleagues or a local walking group. Participants who would like to climb Croagh Patrick for GOAL will receive a ‘Reek Challenge Pack’ that includes a sponsorship card, a GOAL t-shirt, and plenty of good company to help us as we climb the Reek. There is a sponsorship target of €150 per person, with all proceeds going directly towards GOAL’s water and sanitation programme in India. GOAL currently works in 13 countries, where it provides people living and working in extremely vulnerable circumstances with vital services such as education, healthcare and proper water and sanitation services.
