GOD BESTOWS HONOURStella Dhinakaran The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. (Psalm 145:18) Dearly beloved, The Bible says, “The same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him” (Romans 10:12). He will grant abundant grace and riches to all those who call upon Him, love Him and have the sole aim of pleasing Him, walking in truth and devotion. The Bible states, “The blessing of the LORD brings wealth, and he adds no trouble to it” (Proverbs 10:22). According to His promise He will add riches, and honour too shall come from Him. He will exalt and make great all those whom He wants to honour (I Chronicles 29:12). David was an ordinary shepherd (Psalm 78:70,71). Yet since he received blessings from the Lord, he became a mighty king. The favour of Him who dwelt in the bush was on the head of Joseph (Deuteronomy 33:16). He was treated as a slave, put in the prison and went through agony because of his own brothers. Yet when the Lord had favour on him, He exalted him to the greatest position next to the king. The Lord who blessed Joseph will bless you too. The Bible exclaims, “How great is your goodness, which you have stored up for those who fear you, which you bestow in the sight of men on those who take refuge in you” (Psalm 31:19). Yes, our God is the One who gives us richly all things to enjoy (I Timothy 6:17). He will remove all your worries and fill you with abundant grace. The Scripture says, “The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth” (Psalm 145:18). As stated in the preceding Bible verse, God draws close to those who seek Him in prayer. He will grant you abundant prosperity and bestow honour upon You. When the divine favour of God rests upon you, you will be blessed beyond your expectations. Prayer: Loving Lord Jesus, I seek to please You by walking in truth and devotion. Let your abundant grace fill me and sustain me. Bestow on me the goodness which You have stored up for me. Provide me with everything for my benefit. Let your divine favour rest upon me and bring me riches and honour. In Your matchless name I pray. Amen. ----
