GOD BLESS AMERICA This morning in the Islamorada gray light I - TopicsExpress

GOD BLESS AMERICA This morning in the Islamorada gray light I stood before the American Flag at World Wide Sportsman and came to a salute and then prayed. My father was a B-29 World War II hero. On one of his last missions he literally carried the torso of a loved one to his family which was awaiting the landing. My father led up to 60 bombers at a time as a Captain of the fleet. I humbly lower my head and pray for all of those who have served our country, those who have given their life, those who have come back mangled and torn. I pray for the safety of all our men and women enlisted all over the world. Prayer is a very powerful thing. I was personally on the U.S. Olympic Biathlon Team U.S. Army as a civilian. I ask all of you from my heart when you see a service man in need do not look at him as injured, do not look at him as paralyzed, do not look at him as being different but kneel down to him and say you are my hero, you are an American hero. Despite all of our liberal politics the United States of America has the greatest fighting force in the world. Hundreds of thousands of Americans have lost their lives to insure the freedom which we enjoy today. Again I say, God Bless America and God Bless our veterans. Happy Veterans Day to All!
