GOD HAS A SENSE OF HUMOUR: On Sunday I preached a message that basically encouraged people not to drop their shoulders when others refuse to acknowledge who they have BECOME in Christ. I sighted examples of how Jesus couldnt do much miracles in His home town because people generally refused to separate His past (Jesus, Son of the carpenter) from His present (Jesus the Christ..the anointed..the son of God). I told the people that when they encounter those that question their justification, they should remember that it is only Christ that justifies...Well, same day I had to attend the dedication of a parish (branch) of the Church I left about eight years ago to answer the call to start TWCI Beautiful Life Church, and after a lovely ceremony, I decided to go greet a few people who I used to know. As I shook the hands of someone who has in the time I left become a big pastor (thank God for him), he looked at me straight in the eye and I could see the mockery in the twinkle in his eyes as he laughingly, to the hearing of many others bellowed..Hahahahahahahahahaha, see shine shine bobo o...hahahahahaha....I hear say you be G.O now.....hahahahahaha, how e dey you??....This drew laughter from others around.... I also laughed, not because I found his apparent disdain funny but because it was as if God wanted to try me with the message I just preached less than two hours before...(GOD HAS A SENSE OF HUMOUR).. So I squared my shoulders, (Boy, I was looking good) and answered him very loudly with a smile on my face Yes Sir, I BE G.O NOW... Next time someone questions your CALLING, remember that the great Paul who everyone quotes today often had to remind people that it is God that calls...what he said in Galatians 1:15-16 applies to you and I: 15 But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mothers womb, and called me by his grace, 16 To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:..It is a waste of time waiting for any man to APPROVE you before you ANSWER God and DO what you were BORN for. As long as you live in 1 Thessalonians 2:12 That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory. YOU HAVE NOTHING TO EXPLAIN TO ANY HUMAN BEING... You do not need any mans approval or authentication to BECOME that which God CALLED you to be. When it pleases Him, who SEPARATED you from your mothers womb...LET HIM REVEAL YOU...No matter WHO COMPLAINS. #YesIBeGONow #dealwithit
