GOD, IN HIS SPLENDOR AND MAJESTY - LOVES US WHOLLY AND UNCONDITIONALLY - That is GOOD NEWS. - God already initiated His LOVE for us all, and all we need to do is claim and receive it. - We, humans must respond and receive it willingly, or else we can never have it. Matthew 7:7 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. - Can we give, if we dont have it? - We cannot love if we dont have LOVE. - In the absence of love, there will be mediocrity, carnality, indifference, hopelessness, darkness, etc - Would you receive His love, so that you too can love like He loves you? GOD WANTS US FOR HIMSELF BECAUSE HE LOVES US SO MUCH - He is not looking at our possession, what we have or dont have. - He is not looking at our title - He is not looking at how respectable or how lowly we are - He is not looking at what we can or what we cannot do. - He wants our soul - He wants the best of our welfare - He wants our quality-life to be just like HIS. - And this quality-life IS NOT about our EARTHLY WEALTH, our RESPECTABILITY, and our CAPABILITY or TALENT - Mentioning about worldly wealth above, He has it ALL. - You want it? No problem for Him to give wealth to you. - But, we need to have our heart right with God, otherwise instead of treating God as God, those wealth becomes our god. - And this in itself is IDOLATRY. - So, let God be God. Matthew 6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. SURRENDER WHATEVER YOU POSSESS WHICH YOU CONSIDER YOUR WORLDLY WEALTH, UNDER THE FEET OF JESUS - God does not want our wealth to replace us. - God accepts and wants us, even without those worldly wealth. - He wants us to depend on Him. - God is our wealth. Psalm 23:1 The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. - With those wealth as our possession, we will have the tendency to cling and rely on it. - But God wants us to rely on Him in all things. - Those things cannot be brought along with us to God when our earthly body expires soon. - But it is our soul, our life in God, through Christ Jesus, who will stand before God. WHY ALL THESE? CANT GOD LEAVE US ALONE? - God can leave us alone, but the consequences will be disastrous. - We, as humans, are imperfect - The only way for us to be made perfect is, for us to be grafted in Him, to be with and in Him. - Example: humanity represents 0% of goodness and God represents 100%. Add both together, the sum is 100%. - When we dwell in and within Him, we will be united as 100% although actually we have nothing (0%). And this is due to His goodness alone. - Its His GRACE. John 15:4-5 - Remain in me, as I also remain in you. - No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. - Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. - I am the vine; you are the branches. - If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; - APART FROM ME YOU CAN DO NOTHING. Matthew 5:48 Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect. - He wants us to be perfect in His PERFECTION not in our perfection.
