GOD IS ALWAYS WITH US.... ACTS 27:13-26. After two storm-tossed weeks, the sailors had given up hope, and everyone was hungry and terrified. Yet Paul uraged all to believe his promise from God that they would survive. In God will I praise his word: in the Lord will I praise his word....Psalms 56:9. The fate of 276 people--passengers and crew--hung in the balance. Pauls courageous faith was met with assurances that he would reach Rome, yet not without hardships. When I cry unto thee, then shall mine enemies turn back: this I know; for God is for me. In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me. Thy vows are upon me, O God: I will render praises unto thee. For thou hast delivered my soul from death: wilt not thou deliver my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of the living?....Psalms 56:10-13. Salvation is often like that. We are assured by faith of a positive outcome, but it is usually attained by persevering through difficult times.
